A family name that became a top brand
Geysen Group was founded over 30 years ago by Alex Geysen and his wife, Monique Maes. From the very beginning, both Alex and Monique have had a deep commitment to their employees — one of the company’s greatest strengths.
Today, three of their four children are actively involved in the company. Their eldest daughter, Veronique Geysen, has been with the business for over 25 years. As a member of the executive team, she is now Alex’s trusted right hand and a key support for all employees. Pieter-Jan Geysen is responsible for purchasing, infrastructure, and leads projects for Geysen Innovation | Clean Conveyor Belt. Roselien Geysen joined the family business as head of marketing and communication and has since grown into the role of operations manager.

The story of Geysen Group
The company is founded. The first operations begin from the family home in Herselt. From the very start, the whole family was involved.
The first office and a warehouse space are rented in the business center in Geel.
We move to our current headquarters in Westerlo.
We are awarded the title of 'Entrepreneur of the Year' by the Chamber of Commerce. That same year, we also take over ELW.
We are nominated as a Trends Gazelle: the fastest-growing small business in the province of Antwerp.
The headquarters in Westerlo is expanded with an additional workshop.
We open branches in Sint-Niklaas and Torhout. Additionally, we are finalists in the VOKA and BEMAS HR Award: ‘Magnet for Technical Talents’.
We place extra focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and launch Technicians Without Borders.
The Geysen Academy is established. We are also nominated once again as a Trends Gazelle: the fastest-growing medium-sized enterprise in the province of Antwerp.
We are nominated for the second time as the fastest-growing medium-sized enterprise in the province of Antwerp. We also open a new branch in Tournai.
The branch in Liège is opened, and we win the BEMAS Innovation Award for the Clean Conveyor Belt.
